Hi so for a while I would have tachycardia episodes and ended taking beta blockers and and currently trying to get off of them I have all kinds of nasty symptoms but I was just wondering if any else has went thru this and if having the feeling of your heart beating with more force even if it’s not beating fast is a symptom.

Hi Fran1989,

I’ve also just come off Propranolol cold Turkey. What was your dose? When did you start to feel better.

I’m day 4 and the last 4 days have been so hard I need to know there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Spoke to my GP yest who suggested I just lower my dose but I’m a bit sceptical as I don’t want to go through this again and feel taking another tablet is a step back.

I was on 40-80mg a day but only for 3 weeks but I still feel awful. GP suggested 10-20mg as and when needed but like I said I’m not sure.
