Angiogram outcomes
Hi Crash1997
Can you give a bit more information about exactly what question you have please?
Here's a link the the NHS webpage on the subject
Just worried what they find have mild chest pain
Your question doesn't give us much to go on but I'll give it a try:
If you've had your angiogram and they didn't stent you or give you any idea of outcome whilst in the recovery area, you can temporarily assume it was 'all good'. Next step would be to contact your GP to request a copy of the letter sent to her/him by the cardiologist who did the angio and/or book a short appointment for the GP to discuss the results.
If you've not had your angiogram yet - what will happen is after the procedure your cardiologist or the one who performed the procedure or at least the cardiac nurse will come into the recovery area (where you will be lying for a bit post-procedure) to tell you briefly what the results are. They will then send a letter and a report to your GP detailing the findings and any recommendations they may have for future treatments including stents if not done straight from the angio (some do, some don't).
