why worry

I am awaiting angioplasty,i am told my situation is complex, i will have a wire pressure test and stents will be fitted if possible the out come will be discussed with me latter.So wait and see!! I have reduced my weight noww 17 1/2 stone from 19 1/2 .I HAVE RECENTLY STOPPED THE METFORMIN AND AM NOW A DIET CONTROLLED DIABETIC YAA I am a little worried that i may have a stroke or heart attack with the angio but am trying to be positive

Have you been given a timescale for an angiogram? They are certainly being honest if they are telling you about the risks of the procedure but like all things the benefits outweigh the risks and given the number of procedures like this carried out I imagine that go wrong are small.

Good on you for losing weight and would suggest you keep doing so. Plenty of info and help on here as a few of us have had more than a few angiograms over the years.
