I’m currently seeing the doctor for other problems but because of my worrying nature and I’d thought my heart had been racing I decided to put my Fitbit in to five me peace of mind with my heart rate...

well I’m laid here in bed and it’s currently 58 it’s been down to 55 - last night in my sleep it went to 55 which I believe is ok if your asleep but I’m just laid in bed. So I’m panicking and to be honest I’m scared to go to sleep... I’ve took my pulse against a stop watch in the hope the Fitbit is wrong but it’s not. I’m so scared.

Hello. I suggest you get checked out at your doctor. Heart rate should be at least 65 to 70 B.P.M Try not to worry to much at present. My H/R went down to 40. Then 22 while i was asleep. But i am still here. I needed a pacemaker. Which is a simple operation to do. And solved the problem. But please get checked out Brian

Everyone has their own "normal", if feeling well ( apart from worried) no need to panic.

Hi,

Don't worry! My beats per minute have been much lower than 55 on my fitbit, at least 2 years ago, I'm still here! Have you got PVC's? My cardiologist doesn't seem bothered by my heart rate... In fact I was even prescribed Verapamil, which slows heart rate down to try to resolve the PVCs!

Best wishes

You’re ok. When HR hits 250 get worried. Just updated IOS13 on Apple. Trend analysis doesn’t lie. You need to cross reference with BP
