one for the walkers who are over 70

The Austrian Alpine newsletter has some useful information regarding suggested times for walking in the Alps for the over 70's. Multiply ascent times by 1.4, descent times by 1.25 and make further adjustments for those who have replacement body parts, wear heart monitors, or are keen photographers.

Thank God for cable cars!

Thanks for the link. I stood where the commentator is last summer - great views. The snow covered mountains n the distance are the Wilder Kaiser range - very impressive. When we came down into Kitzbuhel, Harley Davidson were holding a rally, along with Indian, seriously expensive bikes, with very well behaved riders roaring around the town every so often, with no police presence to be seen.

Down the road a bit the Bentley boys were holding a get together in a rather expensive hotel. Every now and then some of the more antiquated vehicles would trundle around the town. As a certain Signor Bugatti said. "I see Mr Bentley is producing the fastest racing trucks in the world".

All in all quite good street cabaret and quite enjoyable to watch.
