Hi Yasyass
I think 30/35 % is marginal for an ICD it all depends on other symptoms. Personally I have been down to 27% and then backup to 43 % I do take Entresto and a pretty high dose of Bisoprolol.
My Cardiologist has talked about an ICD and my GP is supportive of it. Saying it may be better to be sooner rather than later !! Me I am Open to having an ICD in fact Open to anything that may help my Heart to perform like it is today rather than deteriorating. Cardiologist also said currently my pacing is reasonable at present but may change in the future. My QRS seems to widen on every ECG but it's a lets wait and see situation at the moment !!
Talk to the professionals involved in your care they will advise you on what's best for You
Wishing you well
Hi I’ve got EF of 34 my cardiologist has passed me over to another department with the intention of having an ICD fitted as a preventative measure because with my condition I qualify under the NICE guidelines
I think it depends on other factors with your heart and of course your age
I read somewhere that the older you are the less likelihood of EF increasing
