How often should we get an ECG

I used to be "series1" but now I am "Motorman". Still, my avatar is the same :-)

I have had cardioversion (18th Sept 19) which has worked, I think, still no follow up appointment and I would have thought I would have one by now?

How often would be reasonable for an ECG?

Geoff

As your cardioversion was a success you probably be left to get on with it. Job done as it were. With regard to an ECG - I get one if I go and see my cardiologist because something has gone adrift. Otherwise at an annual review if one is deemed necessary.

It's a good question.

I would say, annually, in my case.

It does not cost so much as far as I am aware.

I will reply to my own post :-) I have had the letter for an appointment to see "a technician" for an ECG. Only 2 years, so not to bad. Now I can worry for the next 2 months about what they will find. I already have leaking tricuspid, mitral, enlarged heart and thickening of the septum, cant be much else to find?
