I am in a similar position. Had full blood tests which showed everything was fine apart from Inflammatory Markers and my Urea levels. Turned out I have Gout which caused my joints to inflame and made me feel like I had flu. I was put on a 5 day course of steroids and felt a lot better afterwards.
