Research project on congenital heart disease ~ does anyone know of any articles?

Hi everyone, so part of my course at college is to do a research project on any health topic which we find interesting, I have to have 16 articles to write about/support my findings.

I’m going to do mine on congenital heart defects/diseases, including Arrhythmias as weirdly since being diagnosed with a heart condition I would love to study to be a surgical care practitioner specialising in Cardiothoracic surgery, so this research project will help me through my future studies 😊

Other than Cardiac Risk in the Young does anyone know of any other websites or articles that I could use in the project? Il be including topics such as a heart healthy diets, exercise including the risks/benefits of exercise and how it affects the heart, I will be looking at new procedures which may be available in the future as well as how it affects people psychologically.

Good for you. Hope it all goes well for you. Check out myocardial bridge. There is only one hospital specialising in this in California - Stanford University Hospital. A cardiologist there started to research it 7 years ago. Myocardial bridge was thought to be benign for years but this amazing cardiologist is proving otherwise. They have now carried out over 200 unroofing surgeries and news is beginning to spread slowly. It's a nightmare to live with. I should know as I have one unfortunately. Hi, my son was born with a ventricular septal defect and had open heart surgery three days prior to his 11th birthday. Sorry I have thrown away all the info I had but if you contact GO STREET or Bristol or Aldershot Hey cardiology departments paediatrics, they will provide relevent info. Good luck.
