Change of medication

Apparently, after 4 years my Bisoprolol Cardicor (Beta-Blocker) is out of stock is there anyone who has replaced this with a similar tablet with no effect.

All other types previously have been bad with side effects

This is slightly concerning as Bisoprolol was on a list of potential shortages I saw recently. It often takes time to adjust to Bisoprolol so a change is not the best of things. For some Atenenol might be an alternative.

Is it your regular pharmacist telling you this? My pharmacist had an issue with a non-heartie drug and suggested the person tried other pharmacists in the area as sometimes shortages are transient. Good luck!

What strength are you on as when I was on 3.75 mg the pharmacist said

There was a shortage but I’ve so far not had problem getting my new dose off 2.50mg

Picked up mine last week 2months supply with no problem on 2.50mg I would check out other pharmacies

Definitely phone other pharmacies. They all use different suppliers.

Picked mine up in Lancashire last week with no issues at all. Pharmacist didn't mention any shortages. Fingers crossed you get sorted out.
