I’d like to know more about this condition so I can support my niece better. She also suffers from Raynards and this gets worse in the cold weather.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Hyperlipidemias come in a number of forms and are classified according to which types of lipids are elevated, that is hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia or both in combined hyperlipidemia.
