Type 2 Diabetic Normalizes Blood Glucose In 8 Weeks On NFI Protocol

Whilst it initially looks quite impressive the devil is in the detail. When I was involved in a diabetic support group I saw many Type IIs reduce or give up their medication (usually Metformin) after lifestyle changes. What I would like are details of the group as success is more likely for people in their forties with a BMI of 28 and HbA1c of 50 than people in their sixties with a BMI of 36 and HbA1c of 70! Rigor is all important!
I thought of you when I posted it. It came straight after your post about eating meat.
It no way was it a dig at you Jimmy. More the writer of the piece as I feel without the detail it is somewhat misleading!
I didn't think it was a dig at me.
I found it amusing that I saw the two articles on the same day. It just goes to show that we have to think for ourselves and make our own decisions. The best way to do that is to consider all the available inormation.
I followed the links but my knowledge of Slovak is minimal (i.e. approaching zero). It definitely would be interesting to know more about the sample. I have got this drill down the data approach after reading a report on life expectancy post bypass that ignored age, co-morbidities and cause of death. It presented a very negative picture! ☹️
No one "diet" would be perfect for everyone.
Michael loves red meat. He can have that if that's not served every day.
He also follows Med diet in between.
If he "binged" on red meat one day, he can eat extra vegetables to balance out at the next meal time.
"All fad diets" including plant-based diet had some flaws.
Buddhist monks advocated on vegan (shojin) diet but they also
had red meats behind the scene to live longer.
They had some common sense i.e. nutritional awareness.
I'm waiting for any "remedy" to neutralise the effects of sugar on the aged body. In the meantime, I try not to eat sugar too much and too often.
When they say, red meat promotes cancer growth in colon or is associated with colon cancer, you got to be eating loads and loads of red meats over several decades, habitually.
When you had pushed your body's limit hard enough over extended period i.e. for years, especially, until your "middle-age" AKA Danger Zone...diseases are born.
