I had my Angiogram yesterday, the consultant found that the smaller arteries have joined in the problem and one of them is blocked and also has a bulge in it( which I forgot to ask about) and he is sure that is what is causing the latest bout of Angina so soon after my last angioplasty. The 3 arteries that are already stented are doing quite well with no cause for concern at the moment. He isn’t happy with stenting this smaller vessel as they are usually trickier to do and he feels having a rest from the procedure would be good. I have an appt in 3 months to see how things are going but if I get any bad problems before that I speak to my cardio nurse and she will sort out an appointment with him. I am very happy with the outcome as the past 3 years have been pretty full on with my health. I cannot praise the e NHS enough with all the help and treatment I have had with my cardio problems.
