leaking mitral valve

I have a leaky mitral and have been told that I cannot have a replacement

due to my age (92) and general health.

I am aware of the possibility of a mitral clip attachement, and would

appreciate any comments apropos where it can be carried out etc

Cheers

My husband was refused mitral valve surgery in Bristol and London, next referral went to Papworth in Cambridge but haven't had any response, he's only 68 but has other health issues so nobody will risk surgery. You may also find it difficult to find a willing surgeon.

Sorry wrong link. That was to replace an existing artificial valve. Here's the NICE guidelines for doing it by keyhole surgery.tinyurl.com/y27bwytj I read that there's a London Hospital doing it and possibly also one in Liverpool
