I wish someone would get all these researchers together in one room and make them come up with one conclusion.

Several years ago, I took statins every day as presribed, I was in so much pain in my muscles I became reliant on using a mobility scooter. I read this or similar article and began to carefully monitor the effects on my body.

Anyway, long story short, I stopped taking them. My brother became very concerned and begged me not to stop. So I told him to do his own research. Within half an hour he was telling me to stop immediately!

I did not take them anymore. I even discussed it with my doctor who agreed.

Since I stopped taking statins all the painful symptoms etc have vanished. My mobility scooter was then stored in the shed and not needed.

The side effects I suffered from the Statins were far worse than the symptoms I was precribed them for!

Yep I have heard that many times. You were right to stop. Balance and risk is everything.
