Feeling a bit sorry for myself

Morning all. Just unloading a bit as I feel really stressed.

Had an MI in 2014. Nearly didn’t make it (I had no chest pain just breathlessness that got worse as the day went on). Triage nurse didn’t ECG me so a 3 hour wait in the waiting room before they got to me then luckily got seen to in time (2 stents - LAD and Circumflex).

The past 6 months my breathing has got worse to the point that sometimes the slightest activity has me struggling and at other times I can be doing nothing and I get hit by what I call “a wave of breathlessness” ... as if I’ve suddenly been thrown into deep water and can’t catch my breath.

My diastolic is averaging 90 -100 which is not good considering the amount of BP meds I’m on so all in all, it’s suspected my CAD has ‘progressed’.

Anyway - another angiogram lined up on the 13th (lucky I’m not superstitious 😀) and we go from there. Hey ho ... as long as it still keeps going 😂

(I’ve been signed off from work for two weeks to try and reduce my stress levels - not sure two weeks of trash TV is doing much to help 😀).

Keep well everybody

Good morning, it's great that you've written down and shared how you are feeling today. This time of year is the best time to have 2 weeks off work as there's plenty of daylight and reasonable temperatures-as long as the rain has a break- for you to get outside and enjoy some fresh air.

Seeing friends/family/neighbours and sharing time together would be far more fun than watching telly😀 I hope that today turns out to be a positive one for you

Thanks. I love photography so as you say, at least I can get out and about and not dwell too much.
