Does anyone know if there is a dietary app for heart disease? I was speaking to a friend earlier and she told me about a great app for people with diabetes. I’m now a little obsessed with food labels and use the traffic light system as prescribed by the BHF but an app would be fantastic generally.

The number one fitness app in terms of popularity is "My Fitness Pal", there's a very good free version which has some ads and a subscription version that doesn't.
I use it and record everything I eat. In addition it's linked to my Apple Watch so it's also tracking my steps. exercise, and calories burned.
None of these metrics are absolutely precise, but taken overall it presents a fairly cogent and consistent picture of my own personal calories in/calories out status, that stacks up reasonably well with what I see on the scales every morning!.
Not an APp but the BHF website has terrific suggestions and recipes.
I don't think it is possible to have a diet for heart disease I have had heart failure for nearly four years and I know quite a bit about it but I don't have a clue what most of the people on here are talking about because it is such a broad subject
