Help understanding Echo results?

Hello,

I had blood tests, an echo, an MRI and an ecg done. I was told that they were all fine (so I'm currently still left unwell & undiagnosed).

I've happened today to get a print out of the results.

The echo print out has included on it:

*Poor parasternal view

* Pulmonary valve: not well visualized

* Pulmonary artery: not well visualized

* Inter-atrial septum: not well visualized

I've also noticed on my MRI results that it says "A formal assessment of extracardiac pathology was not undertaken on this scan. Correlation with other imaging modalities is advised"

I am just wondering does this information mean that I've had everything checked properly or have some areas of the heart not being examined that should have been?

Many thanks for any help!

To me, as I Understand it, certain areas couldn't be seen properly and they have suggested you have other imaging tests to look at those.

Not what you're looking for?
