Heart attack 2006
Hello and welcome to the forum! What tests did they do in A&E? Although you had a stent inserted 13 years ago it indicates you have CVD. You may have had an angina attack indicating restenosis of the stent or stenosis of another artery(ies) having reached a critical point. Further tests could be an exercise ECG and an angiogram if you fail it.
2 ECG 12 lead for about a minute..2 blood test different times..chest x-ray..goin to see go about refer to cardiology..thanks for your help.. symptoms were pains chat and arm sharp pains in lower jaw..feeling sick...took Gtn spray two sprays under tongue..pain took long while before easing..settled at home for while..heart rate 50 low for me and BP 117 over 68 again low for me..felt like ache after reasonable night's sleep.. thanks again for help Ken
A few weeks before my bypass I collapsed with severe angina, dizziness and nausea. The resting ECG was perfectly normal despite four severely blocked arteries. I imagine the blood tests included one for Troparin which rises post HA. You need the further tests for an accurate diagnosis. Hope you do not have to wait to long.
