Hi after having angiogram I still haven’t been told what is happening next. I have now recieved a letter to attended a cartroid ultra sound. Has anyone else been in this situation ?

Sounds as if they are deciding on future course of treatment and building up the full picture to decide. If there is significant narrowing within a cartoid artery they would tend to treat it first. After my angiogram I thought I was having stents but after further tests and peer review it became a bypass. Hopefully you will only need lifestyle changes with nothing more or stents.

Hi Pam

When I left the hospital 2 weeks ago after my angioplasty I was given instructions to get back in touch with them if I hadn't heard in 10 days about my follow-up with the cardio dept. They got in touch within 5 days and it does involve the same scan as yours. From there I go to see the cardio dept so perhaps you'll do the same.

Thanks it’s tomorriw but just wondering how soon after this test I will receive bypass. I hate all the waiting
