You don’t sound at all well to me. Dr get it wrong my mother in law was told had a chest infection 3 times within 6 months she was dead with breast cancer. GO private whatever it takes!

Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. However, your comment about the NHS is grossly unfair. Someone I knew went privately for a fairly routine operation and died. Many people feel that if it had not been in a small private hospital but in an acute one with full A&E facilities he may have lived! Many doctors work both in the NHS and privately. A poor doctor is poor regardless of environment.

Going private is merely like getting a second opinion ,you can get them on the NHS , I would go private for rehab maybe but wouldn't bother for diagnosis .

Sorry for your loss but it isn't fair to tar the whole NHS like that in my opinion.
