Hi, we live in a hilly rural area with narrow lanes and going walking has its problems. So I wondered if anyone has any experience of the non motorised/foldable treadmills suitable for walking not running and how successful it has been. Thoughts would be appreciated Thanks

Hi Ray
Have you tried your local ramblers? I am fortunate in that the area I live in has old railway lines converted into footpaths so I have some very pleasant walking areas. If yiu haven't got a local group stick a notice up in you local community hall try toform an easy walking group. Good luck.
Now the proud possessor of a treadmill. Real basic one, folds up and relatively inexpensive. First day, one minute at a time throughout the day working up to 10 minutes overall per day. Second day managed 2 minutes at a time, aiming for 10 minutes. Huffing and puffing and totally knackered. Keeping to 10 minutes overall for the first week then increases slightly, no rush, I aim to be here for quite a while yet lol, Steady as we go....
