I am nearly 77. Active and generally healthy. Heart /diabetes problems run in the family. FIrst stent 16 years ago. Seems every 3 years or so I need another one. Usual mix of meds for years ( statin/aspirin/clopidogrel/ramipril/bisoprolol. Clopidogrel/ statin as night. Latest episode was the worse with old stents being blocked as well. Now living in France and treatment here is I am sorry to say so much better than the UK. Two new stents and one inside an older one 3 weeks ago. This time I have noticeable depression and fatigue. Gradually getting more energy but easily knocked back and even mild angina symptons again. Some days feeling amazing and energetic and then down again. Its obviously going to take longer this time. Interesting reading other peoples pattern of recovery, nice to know I am not alone in it taking longer than previous times.

Hello Grandad

From one Grandad to another, not quite at your age yet but getting very close !!! 70 + is not a Privilege given to Everyone so very grateful to be here. Care in different countries is a very subjective issue The NHS has been pretty good to me and I can't really fault it. Hope you are enjoying France personally I miss Carefore more than anything else LOL
