Looking for advise please

i suffered my first heart attack at 37 and then a second at 46, following this i was given a double bypass then returned to work. 10 years later i suffered a stroke and 4 weeks later a further heart attack and was fitted with a stent.

This was a year ago and am now back in full time work for the last 8 months

But i am finding it very difficult ie concentration tiredness etc.

I can not afford to retire but i am not sure if any benifits are avaliable ?

Im 58 years old

Many thanks any advise appricated

Hi Keeps,

I really can’t help on what help is out there but having claimed Attendance Allowance for my cousin, I can assure you that having doctors’ letters with detailed information certainly helps to get a speedy and favourable decision.

Citizen’s Advice and Age Concern are usually a mine of information on things that can be claimed. Have you tried the government site, it has a lot of information on all types of allowances etc.

Hope this is of some help.

Jaycee.
