Aches and discomforts
Hello.
I have had two stents fitted last February ( 2018) . I attended cardiac the rehabilitation programme and mentioned the same pain.
The nurse said it’s stent pain. I said I wished they’d mentioned it during the teaching sessions, it was only made clear once I had asked.
I still get pain in the left shoulder, which can start when I am at work, then stops on it’s own. I am not sure how long it is supposed to last but I know other people I have spoken to who have had stents experience the same pains.
I had 2 stents in December. I’ve felt the place they’re in ever since. My rehab nurse thought the tenderness was muscular, but I asked her to touch where my stent would be.....she touched the exact spot. I know it’s not the Angina as it hurts when I stretch. I also have a dull shoulder ache - again they’ve written it off as muscular as it didn’t get worse on exertion. I guess time will tell.
