Hi does anyone have any info on serrapeprase, I recently heard that this was of potential use in arteriosclerosis ( thinks it’s classed as na anti infkammatory) in particular if use of this would have any side effects given that I’m taking aspirin, Beta Blocker and Statin. I have blocked LAD and having a stent in a couple of weeks. Any thoughts or info greatly recieved

Cheers

Ed

this might be of interest which I found after a quick Google:

Surgery: Serrapeptase might interfere with blood clotting. There is a concern that it might increase bleeding during and after surgery. Stop using serrapeptase at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery.

I have been trying it, some info on website and there is a book they produce which covers different problems. I am not really sure to be honest and therefore don’t take as many as suggested for heart health, but do at the moment feel relatively well and perhaps not suffering so much with other side effects. Sorry not really useful answer, but realise its perhaps not overly accepted to self administer particularily when there are no clear results as to benefits or otherwise.
