I recently been told by GP after blood test I have high cholesterol on medication for it started eating more healthy from now on more exercise

Hi Mike,

I was told my 5.6 with the good taken off 3.8 was ok. But when had hosp appointment they said regardless of that anything over 5 is classed as high. So am on statin and aspirin. But not just for that. My mother had high cholesterol. And I always thought I ate healthy?

Without knowing what you eat it is difficult to comment, do you eat a lot of sugary foods?
