Arm and shoulders Have started to get pins and needles in both arms all the way 2 finger tips . Lift my arms up and get aching pains in my shoulders. Is this normal when you had a HA and stent fitted . As it eases of about a hour later but comes and goes

Pins and needles
What medication are you taking? Check side effects I think parasthesia is a side effect of some meds but always first port of call is GP or cardiac nurses
I'm taking eplerenone bisoprolol ramipril brilique atorvastatatin aspirin and pain killer is codeine. And have a gnt spray.
I would say less about the stent and maybe more to do with body adjusting to the meds certainly bisoprosol and ramipril can cause the pins and needles/tingling. Atorvastatin - muscle pain. These are only thoughts - but might give you something to talk to the GP about, don’t know how long you have been taking them and things do settle in time usually but always worth a discussion with those who know you and your medical history.
I have read that statins can cause pins and needles, I used to often get pins and needles in my arms when I was on statins. It was a few year later that I read that statins can cause this.
I too get pins and needles and numbness but it’s due to the anti anxiety drugs I’m taking. Our bodies all act differently to the meds. Your GP will be able to advise you, try not to worry as it’s unlikely to be anything sinister.
I would investigate the side effect from the atorvastatin first, it does cause muscle problems for some, tingling fingers, dry mouth, Speak to your GP and ask to try different meds, until you find the one that is causing your problem, I'm doing the same thing at present, I had a HA and 7 stents back in September. I kept get breathless spasms changed Ticagrelor to clopidogrel, problem 1 solved, I'm now trying to work which med causes my tingling fingers, loss of smell and taste, dry mouth, and I'm convinced its Atorvastatin.
I'm going to speak to my GP and change it for an alternative, then monitor it again.
Pins and needles down the arms sounds like an issue related to your heart. Check that before you consider drug side effects.
