Hi, I have paroxysmal AF after having a Mitral Valve Repair - it is being managed with bisoprolol and rivaroxaban but I am now starting to get muscle contractions in the left side of my chest.

I have had a fairly stressful year and the AF is getting really uncomfortable.

Is any one else experiencing these symptoms?

You should pop over to the AF Association page on this site where there are a lot of friendly and helpful people with many years experience of AF that can advise you.

Hi I have paroxysmal AF After mitral valve repair and PFO closures.

I'm also on Rivaoxaban and Bisoprolol. My AF has stopped completely with the medication.

What dosages are u taking it may be possible the dosage needs adjustment.

My medication was amended by a consultant Electrophysiologist. I was kept in hospital for a while until he sorted it.
