Repair to artificial mitral valve

Hi everyone, Is there anyone out there with experience of this? After I had my mitral valve replaced with an artificial one, I went into AF and was given Amiodrone, and had an allergic reaction to it, sending my blood pressure all over the place. The result was a tear in the stitches of the new valve. The result of that has been that the wee gap continually destroys (haemolyises) my red blood cells and I am increasingly chronically anaemic. Now I am about to have a procedure similar to an angiogram, where a probe is inserted through a blood vessel in my groin, and this will somehow manage to plug the gap. Sorry for the long story, but I am keen to know if anyone else has had this. The alternative seems to be a replacement, replacement valve, which is quite scary!
