Hi and welcome to the forum! You should be offered rehab at about six. Take it from there and ignore Dr Google. My maximum HR is set at 104 - 108 well below the basic formula level. I had a quadruple and am statins. May I ask how tall you are? I weigh more but my BMI is fine!
First get a small plate and small dish to eat small portions of food, 1/3 food, 1/3 water and 1/3 air or empty to bring your weight down, check the height to waist ration. Northing between meals, it is very difficult.
On the Mail on Sunday recently a top surgeon wrote about exercise after heart procedure. Please Google to get the information.
Simple exercise like walking, moving a litre of water from one hand to the other many times while sitting sown can help.
Was it out of the blue or there were warning signs like BP, cholesterol?, medication at this stage is very important, if the medication is giving you problems discuss it with your GP.
Hi bennybubs1,
The advice given thus far is spot on.
Potter around the house then do a little bit of walking, but not too much. Talk to your cardiac care team to verify this. As for diet i’m trying a modified Mediterranean diet. Lots of veg, a max of three piece of fruit a day. Little or no dairy and no wheat. Also no refined sugar and as per guidelines little saturated fat. And wait patiently for the rehab!.
Cheers
