Morning hearties. As you know iv been waiting (impatiently I must say) to have a reveal device fitted. Nearly 3 months now. So called rehab team last wk to chase it up only to get a call today saying doctor forgot to put request in. You couldn’t write it. Having cancelled my Australian holiday for the third time this year to accommodate this I’m a bit browned off

Not surprised! I had an unrelated appointment moved back for the second time today. The impression I get is constant juggling with people getting missed. I suspect this happened with the referral for my bypass. Fingers crossed it happens this time!

Fortunately, I have a brilliant HF nurse - twice now she has had to give the hospital a "nudge" when they have forgotten about me, and they have immediately got things moving.

Hi Alison. I don’t know where I’d be without rehab nurses. Worth they’re weight in gold
