So my husband had his ablation and is feeling great and was deemed successful. He has no bruising and the site entry at the groin is tiny. The only thing different he’s having terrible headaches . Has anyone else had experience with this?

When was the procedure? Had the headache eased?

Yes migraneous headaches do occur after ablation due I have been told, to the trans septum puncture. I had a couple on the day after my ablation (last Thursday) but touch wood, none since.

If you go to the AF association site of Healthunlocked there is a fact sheet 'recovering from ablation ' which mentions these headaches.

Thank you for your answer. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the fact sheet too, that’s so kind of you .

No problem, it's all a part of our learning on this journey that we didn't want to take. Hope your husband continues with his recovery and soon gets those migranes behind him. Is he getting the auras with them? They are quite amazing in a bizarre sort of way 😕
