Aortic Valve replacement

Hi I'm 70 in November. I had an emergency Aortic valve replacement ( Edwards Bovine) and ascending aorta repair Feb 2016, ( I was 15 meters up a tree pruning the top branches when the valve and aorta gave out) for the last 2 years I get out of breath when walking for the first 200 yds then for the rest of my 1.5 mile walk (I do this twice a day at 120 paces per minuet ) it eases off this has got worse since Christmas. I play tennis twice a week but only manage an hour each time. In May I visited the Cardiologist, July I had an echocardiogram ( all was ok ) at the beginning of OCT I rang the cardiologist to see what comes next but he hasn't got back to me. Also my left arm is a lot weaker than my right, I only dumbbell press 3 Kilos on the left but 15 on the right, the doctors aren't concerned about this either. Dose any one else that's had this opp experience the same?

I would push for more tests X

Exercise stress test!

24/48hr ECG monitor are a couple I'd ask for!

I had a mechanical valve fitted 6years ago, and earlier this year out of nowhere I started getting breathlessness climbing stairs and walking up hill, spoke to my cardiologist, had a scan, x-rays, ECG, lung function tests, after nearly 8 months, I finally got an exercise test ( makes sense to me, that as my symptoms happen when I'm doing something), and I've got heart block, I go in tomorrow for a pacemaker.

So do please keep pushing until you see the right person and get to the bottom of it x
