Ok,
lets begin,
Heart attack, followed by quad surgery in October 2016, long road to recovery, scar issues plus scares and further treatment on the heart, the sudden death of my sister from undiagnosed heart disease didn't help either.
A very depressing scenario, went through some very dark times. Sought counselling which helped to a certain extent, shared stories on here and have attempted to help others through my own personal experience.
Its still been a long road, I still struggle with sleep and a decent pattern of sleep. I take what I can get when I can get it, (no I am not one of those nappers at work as of yet)
Had promised myself early retirement next year but think that wont happen (wife diagnosed with breast cancer so we need the health insurance as that's a bastard).
So I have been throwing myself into a charity walk, begins Sunday this week, to raise funds for the BHF, the madness of walking 80 odd miles in five days should certainly see me either in intensive care or to the Priory for treatment.
I would seriously encourage everyone to open up about how you really feel, sharing is indeed caring, plus the ones who care about you do want to listen to you, and if that fails, please seek professional help, there are some good people out there
Good luck all
Mark
