Hi, I'm new to this site. I've recently been diagnosed with angina, and scheduled to have a stent implant soon, so thought I would join the group, to be able to speak to people in my situation for support and help.

I had angina on walking up a hill. Had stent fitted 6 years ago and life carries on. All the best.
Hi I’m new too! And had a stent fitted....2 Days ago.
I’m at home recovering so please ask away! I was very nervous about it all. The staff were very thorough and lots of them. I found out in August I needed a stent so it was a shock and a month later, it’s done, 🙂
I used to suffer from angina. I had quadruple bypass surgery in 1997 which fixed it and I am still alive and kicking. There is life after angina!
If you have time on your hands after your op you could learn a language for free on the DuoLingo website. It is very easy to use and it will give you something useful and mind-broadening to do.
