Hi - I've just had diagnosis of coronary heart disease confirmed. Thought I might need a stent but not so. Bisoprobol (beta blocker). Mild angina: upper back and shoulders, chest tension. Looking to share experiences.

Hello and welcome! Are you on any other medication besides the Bisoprolol. I had angina for 16 months before I had my bypass (unstentable due to calcification).

Hello. Yes I'm on avorostatin and aspirin, also amlodopine and indapamide for high blood pressure. No stent required because flow is not impeded.

Have you been told you will see a cardiac rehab nurse for follow up advice? I think you would find it reassuring and helpful

No I'm not being followed up by cardiology, just by GP for medication.

For now I'm happy to see how I get on in the next few weeks. They said after my angiogram that the diagnosis was 'good news'.
