Post stent pains
Hi Bassman2018
About 10 weeks ago I had an attempt at an Angiogram through my wrist which didn’t quite work so they numbed my groin and did it through my groin only slight discomfort with my wrist but lots of discomfort with my groin which resulted in me going back to hospital after 10 days as the pain hadn’t subsided the Cardiac Surgeon who performed the Angiogram was good enough to come and examine me and explained sometimes the plug they put in to stop the bleeding and heal the wound that contains collagen which dissolves over a 3 month period can cause soreness but in my case as I had quite a bit of bruising he said he had probably done a bit of nerve damage and although he knew it was painful it would calm down and he wasn’t concerned. Hi I wouldn't worry too much. I had wrist pain for a couple of weeks post thrombectomy. My cardiac nurse suggested arnica cream and heat therapy which really helped. I actually wore a wrist support to keep my wrist warm - it was Christmas time in Scotland. Hope it helps but as always if you are concerned at all, give someone a call
Let us know how you get on

I feel so fortunate, after reading the troubles some have had with an angiogram. I had an angiogram, through the groin area.
