Hi and welcome to this forum of helpful people. Many here are very knowledgable and I have learned alot, received good support and a sense that folks are on here for the right reasons. One thing I love is that I am in the USA and many others if not most are from other countries. Lots of differences in treatment, but in my case, Ive learned a fib is just as annoying in England as it is right here in rural Missouri😂 Tell us a bit about your self if you feel like it.
Hello, thankyou for being so welcoming. How are you? I'm Laura and 35 was diagnosed with p.a.d 8 months ago. Don't really know alot tbh. Wow you're in the states?? I'm in the u.k just outside London x
Im doing really well although I hesitate to say that, might jinx myself, lol. Ive never been out of the country, but if I would, England would be my first choice! Hope you are doing well also

Hi Laura. Welcome to the site. Everyone is really supportive here and lots of excellent knowledge between us. I am based in the North - Newcastle- fab city brilliant people and wonderful hospitals. Weather not so good but suits me as I don’t do well in the heat. You will learn lots from people here I wish I had found this site when I was first poorly but glad I have now. Take care. Zena
Hi zena just wanted to say hello as I'm fairly new to the site. Diagnosed with complete heartblock and have had a pacemaker fitted recently. Im also from Newcastle and have to agree with you about good hospitals. The staff at the Queen Elizabeth in Gateshead were brilliant. You're also right about Newcastle. Fab city and friendly people!
Take care
Tracey
