Hi all, I have been to see my cardiologist today for my very first appointment with him and I've come out in complete shock!! What I have been thinking is just chest pains from a chest infection I had about 2-3 months ago is what they think is angina!! I've been given a few new meds to take and have got to wait to have a CT scan done ......... I'm still in shock tbh, hopefully I will get over that soon enough lol.

Hi and welcome! My cardiac journey started in a similar way eighteen months ago. I had a chest infection that had dragged on for weeks as I was refused antibiotics (not NICE guidelines). When it cleared, and the chest pains and breathlessness continued I went to the GP. The rest is history. The good thing is you are now on the radar.
If you need to make any lifestyle changes start tomorrow morning.
