Low bp and heart rate

Hi after suffering a heart attack in January I had a stent fitted and put on the usual meds

Done cardio rehab and all in all feel ok Back to work and life as normal as can be expected! On Friday I had a bp check and it was 127/83 which

I was told is good Then yesterday at rehab exercise class my bp was checked again and was 100/60 This morning checked at home

109/70. My resting heart rate is 68 but today going between 49. To 59. ? Any thoughts?

I am NOT a doctor but Wow! 109/70 is brilliant, pulse of 49 to 59 is athlete standard. You are doing great! You didn't say if you are on any meds. If you are you could ask your GP about reducing them.

I had a reading of 100/60 one morning while I was in hospital with pulmonary embolism a few years ago. The nurse in question was quite concerned as I am on meds for high BP. She fetched the ward sister and she told me to have breakfast and a couple of drinks and then she would retake it. It did rise once I'd had food and drink and I was told that dehydration in particular can be a cause especially first thing in the morning.

I too have stent and done rehab etc. but have low blood pressure as low as 90

Had to reduce Ramipril to 1.25

But nobody has mentioned dehydration so this is a great help to me thank you
