Hi There was no Exercise program in my area so I walk to and from work each day. And get on the exercise bike 2-3 times a week. And a trainer once a week.
It has really helped but it has been explained to me that I must carry on as the little blood vessels that are growing around the blockages I have collapse very quickly. So I have to walk everyday to maintain the improvement I made.
In April I walked 4 miles which was quite an achievement for me. But if I stop walking for 2 days the pain returns...
Good luck and don’t give up!
Thank you very helpful i will not give up (will kick myself if i have to )
It’s been a while but I thought you may find my annual review interesting.
After 15 months of mostly eating well, exercising, taking the pills and walking, my disease has not progressed at all and the pressures in my feet have increased by 25% and 27% due to the walking creating the collateral vessels.
Hope you are well and still moving!!
Brilliant glad you are improving and the collateral arteries are working I am still moving walking well, although stairs are still a big pain in my butt 😁 plodding on to keep my leg moving. Rest pain is a tad worse but exercise pain isn't any worse
