Hi Shivvyxx
Just to say-please tell the nurses and doctors if you are feeling a little anxious and worried before your angiogram. It really is normal to feel that way, and they can support you.
Best of luck, and come back to us if you have any more questions after your procedure.

Hi Shivvy. I felt the same post heart attack and I explained how I felt so they gave me a relaxant to help. It’s important as they said they preferred me to have the medication beforehand so it would help me relax for the procedure. It was great. Just enough for me to relax but I was aware of what was happening so I could follow the procedure. I had to have a second angiogram a week later and again I had the same treatment. Worth telling the team so they can sort. Take care and keep us posted. Best wishes. Zena
