Pain 3 months after stents

Keep getting some pain, not too painful, but really annoying 3 months after stents fitted. Also seem to have good days and bad days regarding exercise capability. Had no pains for the first few weeks but feel as if I am going backwards. Doctor says this is settling in of stents and heart adjusting - am I beingfobbed off?? Any one else experienced this sort of occurrence after 3 months

Although with my stent 10yrs ago I didn’t experience any pain... I’m now 13 weeks post op triple by pass surgery... I would talk to a cardiologist about by pass, oftentimes people deteriorate beyond the capabilities of a stent. Good luck!

I had stents fitted about last year and I did not feel any pain to date. I did feel slight tingling in the chest occasionally in the first few months but I didn’t think much of it so either it went away or my brain just accepted it.

I can understand the good days and bad days regarding exercise, did you attend the rehab classes? With regards to the exercise and what can be achieved, please see below post, you may find helpful.

Hi Potsworth, might also be your reaction to the meds you have been put on. Also, as MandM says did you go to rehab classes?

Three months post I wouldn't say this is 'settling down', with stents, albeit with my limited knowledge on reading, would normally expect to be pain free within weeks rather than months.

Your GP was the one who said its settling down or your cardiologist?
