Aortic stenosis

I was told i had a heart murmer. I have seen a consultant he said i would need a new valve. This was a month ago and i have heard nothing since.

I had my valve replaced 4 weeks ago.

It took me a while to hear back from the hospital too. Maybe give them a call.

When I found out about my aortic valve the doctors told me I would have the op within a month. I didn’t have it till 6 months later. It does take time 😊

Give the hospital a ring and ask them for some sort of guidance on time scales. It depends how bad your murmur is as to how quickly they’ll do it, but they should be able to give you some idea.
