Given my family history, Father died of heart attack, Mother had bypass, it was bound to catch up with me sooner or later.
It did on Valentines Day last week! Not the hearty stuff I Was expecting but hey ho, it wasnt my time. I have always believed when your number is up there's not a lot you can do about it. If it wasn't the case, people would never bury their children. That's just my take on it.
Had a Stent fitted, Doctor told me I had suffered a heart attack.
Thought I would search travel insurance as I recover, boy does that increase the anxiety levels. Read some good posts about travel insurance so maybe when i look again I will feel better.
Just wanted to say hello and learn from you all on many things.

Hallo. Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery. I joined a local Womens Institute group this week to get their group travel insurance policy. If you're a man you can be included if your wife over 50 is a WI member. Ive read a lot of books & articles since my heart problems were diagnosed recently& they all say its best to wait some months till you're fully recovered before travelling.
There are many adverts for travel insurance companies which insure people with medical conditions in the travel section of Daily Mail on Saturday. Some companies are consolidators. I had best quotes from lv, co-op, Staysure.
