I'm now 14 plus weeks post op and everything is progressing well - the odd twinge here and there but nothing to get too excited about. One irritating issue is the scar on my chest - it pulls a bit on occasion and sometimes I get a weird 'gritty' feeling (like the skin rubbing against something inside my chest). Neither of these things are painful, just a bit irritating. Any suggestions on how to improve the 'pull' on the scar and what the 'gritty' feeling might be?
Cheers
Steve

Bio oil or rosehip oil for the scar, will loosen and moisturize it. The gritty feeling is your bones knitting over the wires, it does pass with time. You might want to try some exercises around the chest to aid
I think the discomfort and odd twinges go with the territory, had my op 11 years ago and still getting the twinge here and there, it was a couple of years before I could stand a seat belt for any length of time!
