Hi. I had a heart attack in October 2016, was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in January 2017. I had a stent fitted after my heart attack. My heart was damaged but seems to be coping ok. I am on medications. My diabetes is controlled, so far, by diet. I have lost weight and am more energetic than I used to be. I am sure it will be interesting being with this group.

Hi Sephi and welcome! Sorry to hear of your heart attack but it sounds like you're making some fantastic progress, so great to hear!

Thanks Helen. I figured I was lucky to have survived the heart attack and took it as a warning. The diabetes was another shock and for a few days I felt quite defeated, but then became positive again. Life is good. I will do everything I can to hold on to it.

Welcome Sephi. Well done on all the positive changes you've made, great that you're seeing benefits to your health already. I'm having a major wobble in my good behaviour at the moment. Actually looking forward to being good again come January! :)
