Hiya I started on that dose of entresto about five weeks ago, so far, to be honest I have not noticed much difference, I was on ramipril then candesartan before they changed me to this one, my heart failure nurse would like to increase my dose to try and bring my heart rate down but my blood pressure is too low at 80/60, she is going to speak to the cardiologist about it,that's more likely to be the reason I don't feel any better, mabe an increased dose would help yourself once you get used to it, I will stick with it and hope I do get start to feel a bit better at some point, char x

Thanks for that-did wonder if I needed an increased dose,-seeing nurse on Monday-still feeling light headed & dizzy at times, which I didn't have on Ramipril. Ah well keep taking the tablets!

Hi. I've been on entresto since the beginning of the year. I was incredibly dizzy for the first 2-3 weeks, but haven't had any adverse side effects since then, not even when increasing the dose. I'm on 48/50 now, I think? I feel like I have had a bit more energy this year and certainly less bad days/weeks. I'd say stick with it, it is very early days. Good luck!

Thank you Laura, it's reassuring that your experience is similar to mine & maybe on Monday my cardiac nurse will confirm that this is normal."Worry" is my middle name!

Hi barb7. I was moved to entresto from Losartan and all seemed ok at first but after going up to mid dose 50mg I soon started having dizzy spells sometimes even feeing like I could pass out. My heart failure nurse said I should revert back to Losartan so I did and soon started to feel better. Even though I read that entresto is a new wonder drug that should make you feel better for me it didn’t. I guess we’re all different and it doesn’t work for everyone.
