Advice on heart rate monitoring

Hi all,

We're both new here and my dad and I are after a bit of advice from you guys.

Last weekend my brother's heart rate fell to an alarmingly low level, resulting in a stay in hospital where he's being looked after by an amazing team to whom we're eternally grateful. he's going to be fitted with a pacemaker this Wednesday and we'd like to be able to buy him a wrist-worn heart rate monitor that displays his current heart rate in real time. This point is crucial as he's not interested in downloading a record of his data afterwards to a smartphone- all he wants is to be able to check his heart rate whilst he's on the go.

We've looked online, obviously, but there's a bewildering array of kit out there so we're asking if you have any recommendations for us?

Thanks in advance

Andy and George.

I have similar problems to your bother and I use the Fitbit charge 2 and I find it really good.
